Measurements and units

Areas and volumes

Calculate rectangle and triangle area and rectangular-box volume, including metric output.

Area measures a surface and uses square units; volume measures three-dimensional space and uses cubic units. Choose the relationship for the shape, label its dimensions, then select the output format you need.
