Pressure units describe a pressure difference. Converting between water column, PSI, pascals and kilopascals changes the unit, not the type of pressure measured. A pressure conversion alone does not determine air speed.
Convert pressure
Select Pressure, label the reading, then choose its new unit.
Start a new calculation
- Press Clear entry, then Clear entry.C→C
Select Pressure
- Press Select pressure units.Pressure
Enter the reading
Pressure reading
Press 1, then inches of water column.1→in. w.c.
Convert to Pa
- Press pascals.Pa
- Example result249.0889 Pa
Keep in mind
Use 2nd each time a unit is above its button. Settings → Preferred units chooses the main labels. This changes pressure units; it does not calculate air speed.
